Strawberry picking is a fun experience that children and adults love. When you are on the way to Resort World Genting, don’t forget you can stop by at the foot hills of Genting Highlands and visit the locally famous Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms where you can self pick strawberries and enjoy the mountain breeze and scent of lavender plant.

The Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm is a popular tourist destination. It is one of the stop not to miss before you going uphill to Resort World Genting from Karak Highway. The Genting Premium Outlets and Awana Skayway Cable car station is just within six-minutes drive away.

Children and Adults will love this place. Other than self picking the strawberries, you can also learn cultivation different type of flowers, vegetables, mushrooms and herbs. For Lavender lovers, there is also a Lavender farm in the complex.

Strawberries are everywhere.

The Strawberry Farm is filled with many rows of Strawberry Plants.

Strawberries do not need too much sunlight to grow, and hence there are suitable to be grow on stacked or vertical farm. With cool temperature, good irrigation, adequate nutrients and adequate lights, these strawberries grew healthy and their berries are tasty and juicy.

Strawberries for sale.

You can purchase the strawberries that had been professionally chose and pack in nice plastic box. They offer RM8 for 100Gm of Strawberry while RM15 for Dried Strawberry. Do try both of them when you are at the farm.

Certain part of the Strawberry Farm is open for Public to self pick the strawberries.

You can pick your own strawberries here straight from the orchards. They will charge RM8 for every 100 grams of Strawberries. Self picking is fun, but be gentle to the fragile strawberry plants. At times during peak season, you may encounter most of the large strawberries had been picked and left with all the smaller strawberries.
