The 12 Chinese Zodiac Chinese New Year Decorations 2018 at Queensbay Mall

Year 2018 is resembled by the year of the dog.

Queensbay Mall Penang had gone a step further in creating a artificial Chinese village in the center atrium of the mall. The replica village includes various essence of the Chinese culture. The main aim of the elaborative decorations is to exposed the uniqueness of the traditional culture to the general public.

The village is created in great detail, with each elements have a specific meaning to it.

The main feature of the exhibition is the 12 Chinese Zodiac Statue which is located around the Atrium.

The Chinese Zodiac is based on a repeating twelve-year cycle, where each year is related to an animal sign.
