The “Romancing Cat Statue” located beside the entrance road to the Friendship Park greets every visitor who comes to the Park. The statue carved from marble stone block depict two adult cats in romance. One cat is holding the other cat within its arm, with a enjoy and indulging looks in their eyes. There is a inscription metal plate below the statue state that this statue is sponsored by Datuk Mohd. Arip Mahmud.

PokéStop Review

This PokéStop is the first PokéStop that most people first access when they drive in the park to the available Car Parks. This stop is one of the famous PokéStop within the walking distance along the loop of the jogging path in the first part of the Friendship Park.

The radius of this stop have a good coverage to part of the entrance path and the nearby Car Parks. It is not accessible to the busy avenue of Jalan Song, hence make it safe for most Pokemon Trainers. Many will Jog or Walk along the jogging path and access this PokéStop. Do not Drive and play as warned. Wandering and Catch outside the park compound with caution as the road around the parks can be congested with traffic at peak hours.

There is many nearby PokéStops within walking distance making it perfect for major farming. At night, this Park become a Pokemon Trainers hot spot, with most of the PokéStops are Lure activated. The whole map may filled with pink flowers flying around with all PokéStop Lure activated.

This PokéStop known to spawn Sandshrew, Scynther, Koffing, Eevee and bunch of Ratatas and Pidgey.
