Introduction
“4th Mile Food Avenue” is a old name for the M.O.M Food Court located beside Everise Everise Department Sotre at the Commercial area at Datuk Amar Kalong Ningkan Road, 3 1/2 mile Kuching. It is popular among the locals and serve mainly population around the 3rd to 4th Mile area, which includes several resident areas such as Taman Seng Goon, Jalan Hup Kee, Taman Hui Sing, Jalan Arang, Capital Garden and Jalan Kong Ping.
M.O.M. Food Court serves variety of local delicacies through series of Hawker stalls available in the Food Court. From the Local famous Kolok Mee to Penang Laksa, From Vegetarian Food to assortment of Meat diet and Satays, This Food court might amaze and satisfy most of the taste buds out there.

The M.O.M. Food Court Signage : 美食街
From the outside of the building, You will notice uniquely curved green roof, with a tall metal signage with a Chinese word “美食街” on it. “美食街” literally means “Good-Food-Street”. It is a legacy of the previous name “Food Avenue”. There is a huge orange storefront sign “FOOD” at the center of the building. previously it reads FOOD Avenue, but currently the word “Avenue” is removed.
There is many unique features in the design of this building. The huge circular transparent Sky Roof allow normal daylight to lit up the hall. The multi layer roofing and high ceiling height at the center allow good natural air flow within the building, which mimics the Ant Hill design where the hot air in the center raise naturally via convection and draws in cool air from the side. Another unique feature of this building is the massive retractable roof at the center of the Food Court, usually open at night allowing natural cooling and convert a closed hall into a open air Food Court.

“4th Mile Food Avenue” Pokemon Go Gym is one of the favorite Gym worth to defend. Many Trainers visit this stop to challenge or train their Pokemon. Defend Teams can change very fast during peak hour. One bonus for the trainers visiting this stop is having the opportunity to fuel their stomach and quench their thirst while try to challenge or training in this PokeGym.
The location of 4th Mile Avenue Pokemon Go Gym in the map of Pokemon Go Game. The Boulevard Shopping Mall is just near by.
This PokeGym have a radius coverage over the M.O.M. Food Court, and the Car park area in front of it. There is one available Pokestop (Everise Colourful Square Light) nearby within this commercial zone. There is no overlap radius between the PokeGym and the PokeStop.
As for safety concern, don’t wandering while battling at PokeGym. There is Traffic and stairs within the vicinity of the PokeGym radius.
Usual Pokemon encounter within this Gym area is Pidgey, Weedle, Ratata, Venonate.
Conclusion
It is one of the famous PokeGym within the third – fourth mile area. Many come here for battle, Conquering Gyms and Training, while enjoy a nice meals with friends and family. The unique design of the food court building allow natural passive cooling without worrying about extensive heat during dry season.
