Kuching Cat Museum is the world’s First and Largest Cat Museum, with more than 4000 exhibits, artifacts, photos, art and souvenir.

The Cat Museum is around 8 Km (~ 10-15 minutes) drive from Kuching Waterfront.
The Kuching Cat Museum is located at Kuching North City Hall. The Commission of Kuching North City Hall was established after the city was officially granted city status on 1st August 1988.
The iconic conical building of Kuching North City Hall is located (60 meters above sea level) on the top of the Siol hill overseeing the whole Kuching city. The huge and strong pillars was build inclined at incredible angle towards a central apex.
There is various parking space along the road going up the hill. You can choose to park at the visitor parking space at the mid hill where you can have a walk at the beautiful garden before walking up a long stairs up the City Hall building. There is limited visitor parking around the building. Before going in the Cat Museum, you can take a walk around the building and have a breathtaking view of the Kuching City below.
After sightseeing, visitors can proceed to the grand entrance of the Kuching North City Hall. The entrance to the Kuching Cat Museum is located at the left side. After entering the Cat Door, the ticket and information counter is on your left.

Cat funeral has a long history. In ancient Eygpt, temple cats were considered sacred and were given prestigious and most elaborate funeral services and were laid to rest in a true sarcophagus.
City dwellers disposing their beloved dead cat in numerous cat cemeteries.Grave stones are also erected for cats, and to save funeral cost, some cat are cremated.
The cat relatives includes snow leopard, bobcat, lynx, jungle cat, serval, fishing cat etc. The cat cave have several exhibits of different species from the cat related family.
